replacement for older model

Bought this to replace spacemaker model that was a workhorse for over 14 years. Hoping this one lasts as long as most reviews complained that it didn't last more than 2-3yrs. Bought 5 year extended warranty just in case. Same features as our old one. For some reason they have replaced the large cooking plate with small one, but doesn't seem like a problem. Others complained about the bright white used for clock, but have had GE products for years and noticed that some have had red, others green, and now the white. Would be nice if there was a backlight to make buttons easier to read, but old model did not have either.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The install team was great. This microwave is the perfect size. I love the turntable, I'd forgotten how nice it was to have one. It's quiet and very easy to use. Some others are complicated.

Worthless piece of scrap metal

Move into new condo late June. Microwave has been down for reapair for 4 weeks, worked for 2 weeks after repairs finally made and not not functioning again
