A couple of drawbacks

The microwave is dependable however the light is placed so far back it doesn’t properly light the stove top below it and the reheat sensor doesn’t work nearly as well as the unit I had to replace. It over heats the food so you have to stop it minutes before it says it will be ready or your food will be ruined.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I bought this one because it was most like the one I had. Looked at the Consumer Reports reviews, the ones they liked and thought was the best, but real users didn't like. So called GE and decided on this one. My original model is not made any more, was 10 years old.
