Unhappy! The plastic ring that holds the plate has already broken. It often makes a popping sound when it's in use. How do I get a replacement?
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great color, surface light, 30 seconds, everything

Replaced our dead unit and really love this model. Easy to clean, love the matte slate color. We like the surface light and the add 30 seconds option.

We installed this using the same bracket as our previous GE microwave. It has almost the same features. Works great so far!

Everything I expected in a GE again "awesome"!

My first appliances in my home were mostly GE.. My microwave was the last one to be replaced..I had mine almost 20 years...I had a Spacemaker with so many neat options so looking now this particular microwave has everything I mainly needed except mine had a nightlight that you could set on/off(I used from when we bought) which I will Dearly miss in this but this does have a high and low light which may be misleading to customers because it just reads "light"...And I love this has also the 1-5 minute buttons to reheat food....It is a bit quieter than my old one with the fan, which "does" have hi/low feature that I wanted since it does not show on button either..My old showed hi/low for everything on the button if it had...I only rated 4 star because I just purchased and I am really hoping it gives me another 20 years..Thx. GE..
