Love my new microwave

Awesome unit and relatively easy to install.
I would recommend this unit to anybody that wants to retrofit a microwave where of their fan light combination was previously installed

Powerful but hard to use

I like the power but the controls are dark on dark so very difficult to see. Have not figured out how to get common settings yet

I bought this over the range microwave sight unseen and I am very happy with the features. My local appliance dealer carries mostly GE products and his service is rarely needed as GE produces great appliances!

Handle peeling and looks awful

Microwave works great but as the micro is above the stove and its largest burner the heat has caused the handle to peel....I thought the handle was steel but it is simple cheap white plastic covered with a silver foil overlay....in trying to find a replacement handle i have come to realize that it is a very expensive piece of plastic to replace!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have Had this Microwave for a couple of weeks. We love the Slate color, A GE exclusive ! We got Four appliances and the Features of this Product is easy to use, Easy to clean! Two Thumbs up !!
