The microwave that came with the house died and we scrambled to find one that fit in the existing space. This did the job, plus we got a larger capacity microwave.

TERRIBLE!

I bought this microwave in November, 2017. To date we have had 2 service calls on it to address the “sizzling” sounds, and timing discrepancies. After the 1st service call, a new electric panel was ordered. Installation of that panel did not fix the problem. The technician has since ordered 5 additional parts, the last of which is back ordered to 1/25/18. He stated he has no idea why it continues to short out. We are concerned with having an electrical fire. We want this appliance removed & replaced but have been told by the merchant that we have 1yr parts and service. This is the WORST GE appliance we have ever purchased. It may well be the last!
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

We have had this microwave since October of 2017, and have had no complications with it whatsoever. It has never failed me yet! Easy to keep clean, as well.
