This was a replacement for a GE microwave we purchased 24 years ago. I’m pretty much satisfied with this microwave with two exceptions. 1. Beverages should not be in the sensor section. It does not heat up a cold 12oz drink. I always have to do it twice. 2. I used a GE microwave in an apartment and the sensor cooking for baked potatoes worked great. So I purchased one for our house. It does not even cook one potato completely. Also You would think that after 25 years they could have found away to make a quieter exhaust fan.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Great microwave

We bought this microwave to match the stainless steel of our new GE range, and it looks fantastic. So far, it's worked great, heating food evenly, with some options for reheating like pasta vs. soup.

Replacement for old Profile

Went with GE because it had the same bracket that was already on our wall from the Profile that died after 10 years of use, but the new Profile was more money than we wanted to spend (and lots of features I thought I would never use). Problems with the new one though, popcorn setting is not quite long enough compared to other microwaves and it beeps saying it’s done but the turn table is still moving. Plus the vent doesn’t tip out luckily we only have 12 inch deep cabinets or it would have been a real problem
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
