I have always bought GE appliances and this microwave was the logical choice to compliment and complete my recent kitchen renovation. The GE name has come to represent quality, outstanding service, and support. For me, there was no other choice!

Microwave does not heat

Microwave is stylish but not functional. Maybe we received a lemon but 5 days post installation microwave stopped heating. Earliest service appointment is / was 2 weeks out. Nothing like buying a new product and not being able to use it...

I purchased this model to replace an older GE Microwave that quit heating after 6 years. I bought this sight unseen thinking it would be an upgrade. I am disappointed with the quality of the hardware - specifically the door handle and the keypad. It is not nearly as sturdy-feeling as the older model. I trusted that GE would continue to provide a top notch product as they always did in the past but apparently I was mistaken.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
