Left in the Dark

The overall dark look, with a dark window and dark control panel, compliments the stainless steel but it makes it difficult to find the function wanted until their locations are learned. I found the same initial drawback with the GE stainless steel refirgerator; they take a bit of getting use to.
More specificlly, I miss the "Remind" function from my previous GE Profile microwave (in bisque). Also I find that the touch pad requires a much firmer press and sometimes a bit of massage is needed. Overall, the performance is very good.
I hope I'm able to get the 18years of use from this new model as I did with the Profile. I'm confident that I will as I am generally, all GE.

Has worked well so far only a couple of months old. Previous GE microwave lasted 7 years with a minor repair. I did not like that we had to drill a new hole in the shelf for the plug. The previous plug was in the corner which is bvetter because the middle of the shelf is unusable due to the plug.

I purchased it to replace a 19 year old GE microwave that I had never had any problems until the heat element went out . This new is a nice replacement.
