Great-as expected

Bought several months ago to replace an older 1.8 cu ft GE that we loved until the light and fan started running when we opened the door (the microwave portion ran only when it was supposed to—always a good thing). GE showed a lot of common sense in not attempting to improve on perfection in a number of features that had become “must have” for us. The part I really fell in love with is that the old wall attachment and overhead mounting hole pattern were an exact match. The only gripe is the hard to read control panel. The uniformly dark appearance looks good from a style standpoint, and the characters are plenty big, but its like trying to read a book through the deep tinted side windows on our van. It can be done if the light is bright enough and from the proper angle, but I’d suggest keeping a flashlight within reach. Despite that one gripe we still think it rates 5 stars.

First time GE microwave

I was in the market for a new microwave I had a counter top and loved the ease of using it, we had a space over the stove and I never wanted one due to reaching over the stove. I still feel reaching over a stove can be dangerous. But I agreed on one. I got it sight unseen as a Christmas present . It arrived in January and it is March and I love this model!!!! I love the gentle beep to remind you you food is done if you don’t get it out right away. The minute select only goes to “5” but I think this is a safety issue, which is fair. I like the rotating plate no rotating option. Also easy to install, you will need two people, very light weight. So far so good!!! Hope GE reaches out in a year to see how I still love this microwave.

I up graded to this model and I am not sorry, I thought I liked my other GE microwave from 8 years ago, this one by far has it beat.
