Bad Lighting

The night light is in a bad position. This is an above the range microwave and it lights the back wall, does NOT light my stove burners. I miss that the most, never thought to look at that before buying. Also the light that is on while cooking isn't very bright, I have trouble seeing if my food has cooked or is boiling.
The microwave works fine, but I miss some of the features I had on my old one. Getting used to new features and cooking times.

My old GE microwave (2001) gave up the ghost and wanted to get another GE because it makes a good over the range microwave and because I thought the support holes would be the same (and they were). I looked on-line and saw several GE models that would work but didn't feel right ordering one without a physical inspection. So I went to a local appliance store and chose this more expensive model because I liked the look and feel of it and the door latch was quieter than the cheaper model, which was a big selling point for me. Luckily this model was on sale so I bought it right then and there. It was easy to install and I love how it works and it even makes my whole kitchen look updated.

Love the express cook feature

I picked it because of the slate stainless color. Not happy with the clock color is green.the new stove clock color below it is white. I wish both clocks were the same color.love the express cook feature
