Great microwave!

We absolutely love this microwave. It was kind of a hassle to install and I wish it came with a heat shield cover for the vents on the back and top of the unit, but it turns out we have to purchase that separately.. The appliance itself is great and is a lot more powerful than our old one.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Frustrating purchase

The microwave worked great in the beginning. Really easy to clean and maintain. Although we don’t really put it to use it has worked well when in use. I realized it was a bad purchase when all of the glass on the door shattered and it was not in use. Their are no replacement door parts for this item making it very frustrating. I wanted both my microwave and refrigerator to match, but I will not be purchasing this item again.

Worked for 2 days

Bought this microwave 10/2/20...used it for 2 days then it quit heating...??? Took an act of God to get anyone to claim responsibility and try to fix it. Sooo many hoops to jump through. Absolutely ridiculous. So as of now not impressed. It's now 11/16 and I still don't have a microwave. Really poor communication between GE and appliance store that's repairing my microwave. Called to find out how much longer and no one seems to know anything. Why is that....then it's like I'm made out to be the problem??? So still waiting on parts.....

Not working properly.

Have had problems from the beginning. Filters won’t stay in. They are constantly falling.

Room for improvement

This has turned out to be a terrible disappointment. After 14 months of moderate use, the handle broke. It appears the handle is attached with only very thin plastic components, perhaps not suitable for a repetitive-stress location. Now, the JVM6175DKWW is tripping my GFCI circuit when it's simply plugged in (no fan, cooking, or light are active).
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great product we both love it. There is only one issue with the microwave. It requires two men to install it. It is worth the work to install.
