This is my second GE over the stove microwave. The first lasted over 10 years. I bought the second because the first was very dependable. The features are almost identical. Needless to say, I would not have purchased the second GE over the stove microwave if the first one had not been superb! Customer satistfaction says it all. GE has great appliances!
I would recommend this to a friend!

Love GE Microwaves

This is my second over the range microwave by GE the first one lasted 11 years so we bought another. Loved the fact that you kept the same mounting bracket and vent location, did have to drill a new power cord hole but no problem , hope to get another 11 years Thanks GE

Makes an annoying noise

This microwave oven makes an annoying “buzzing” noise while in use. It drives me crazy.

Mighty microwave

Bought this one month ago. Very pleased with the features and size. I wish the potato setting had the ability to select the # of potatoes. This one will only let you program one potato at a time. Only complaint. Everything else works very well.

Double fail

Has been replaced twice, fan stopped working in both instances. Cost of replacement part so expensive the entire microve was replaced each time. Inconviniences included numerous phone calls and technician visits.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Quiet and efficient!

Our 12 year old GE microwave gave up the ghost and we needed a replacement ASAP. This model was very nearly a clone and had all the right features.
