We are pleased with the solid construction and no nonsense, easy to follow instructions for this OTR microwave that was relatively easy to install. It has a powerful microwave, a powerful exhaust, and we expect it will be a real trooper in our kitchen.

Noisy microwave

This microwave looks good and was the perfect size for replacing our previous over-the-range microwave that had died. However, it is extremely noisy while operating and is a bit slow to heat food.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Great replacement for our 5-year old GE unit. Exact fit with options for exhaust out the back / top / and recirculate. Large capacity and power to cook a meal.

The microwave is great. Only problem is that it did not come with the charcoal filter door like I saw on the showroom floor. It came with a straight bar and I have to unscrew the bar to change the filter. Went on line and it still shows the filter door.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Not so great install.

Printed in China templates did not match up with where holes should be drilled. Remeasure and place actual mounting hardware to make sure the drilling is at the right location. Fan does not shut down when used for a long time. Not sure if fan has built-in sensor to work with high humidity from steam.

Over the range microwaves have an automatic fan feature that protects the microwave from too much heat rising from the cooktop below it. It automatically turns on at low speed if it senses too much heat. If you have turned the fan on, you may find that you cannot turn it off. The fan will automatically turn off when the internal parts are cool. It may stay on for 30 minutes or more after the cooktop and microwave controls are turned off.
