My application required venting out the back. The vent duct runs thru the wall up to the roof. When the fan was rearranged per the instructions, it wanted to push air down and not up. Plus the louver further hindered the air from moving up. I'm handy and have tools so could fix this. But, the fan should have a standard position for this. (Turn 90 degrees but not flip 180 degrees.) Nice that the wall mounting bracket had not changed from the 15 year old GE unit that was being replaced.

Nice Looking Microwave

Just got this a few days ago. Works well and has a nice look. The black screen on the microwave has a bump and because it's shiny it really looks worse than it is from far away and is irritating bc I just got it. The store worked with me on a credit so I let it go but I hope this is not the sign of a cheaply made appliance..

This is our second microwave of this model. The first one we bought was 2 1/2 yrs ago when we built our new house. It only lasted 2 1/2 years before having an electrical smell to it. So here we are buying the same model only because we know it will fit in the over the stove space that we have.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Looks greedy, works great. Had the sane model twice before. This lady one was donated because we upgraded the kitchen and got the newest model to match the upgrade. Only downside is that the digits are not visible when kitchen lights are off and on the evening.

I purchase this microwave after many of my resorts vacation have GE appliances in them and they work so well. My Maytag microwave died and I decided to get a GE.

I was concerned about the size/fit. I was replacing a GE Profile Microwave which is no longer available. This ended up being the perfect fit even though the height was almost an inch difference. It looks great, just like it's always been there.
