What we needed

We’ve had this unit for a couple of months and have tried most of the functions. This unit does everything we want. We were pretty much forced to buy this unit because we have a 36” opening over our countertop range. This unit has a filler unit that we were able to purchase to make the 30” microwave work. We couldn’t find a 36” replacement microwave to replace the one we had. So far we’re pleased with the microwave.

Love the finish

Bought the with my other major appliances fridge free standing range oven and dishwasher love the room and all the features of it...only down fall is vent fan is quite loud and they use halogen bulbs for the lighting that shines down on stove so there very warm and not the best for enery efficiency wish they were led... And no back lighting for all the control buttons kinda tuff to sneak in the kitchen and warm up some yummy left overs with out ketting the whole house know someone is in kitchen with the lights on lol but over all great new addition to the kitchen

We purchased this to replace another GE microwave. The primary reasons we chose this were for these reasons: 1. It stops beeping when you open the door. 2. You can use the timer and cook simultaneously. 3. Instant access to the 1-5 min cooking times (think it's called one-touch). The way it works if you press the key and the cooking starts immediately. That's very handy and a feature we enjoyed on our previous model. 4. 30 sec button
The only thing I'm not crazy about is the layout of the numbers. But, I guess I'll get used that that. The main thing is that it's easy to use and not annoying.
It's also more quiet than our previous model.
