It looks great with my new cabinets, but didn't know the vent fan would require a hole in my cabinet and an external venting system. And even on low the vent fan is very loud.
I would recommend this to a friend!

No Back Light Panel

I bought this version as a replacement for my old one which stopped working. We went from white model to black. Should have stuck with white, at least you can the buttons. Where is the backlight!!

Great microwave

Microwave is very user friendly. The pre-programmed keys make it simple to get the right time/cooking method for the right dish. The black color is very elegant and the size is pretty perfect.

We absolutely love our new GE Microwave which we purchased in September after our old one which we had for 26 years suddenly died. We are amazed with how much microwaves in general have improved over the years. Our new GE is a "Sensor" microwave which is such a joy to use. Just one button use provides just right popcorn, beverage heating, backed potatoes, melting, reheating and defrosting. We never had a turntable before, so having one now and also being able to turn it off and on is a great feature. We also love the surface light and vent fan. This microwave is also well built. We love the black slate and it is so easy to clean and keep clean. After looking at every microwave on the market, none compared to our new GE. We highly recommend this model GE!

Simple and Effective

I bought this when my GE Profile of 15 years decided to stop working. I wanted to stay with GE as I have been happy with the company. I am very happy with my decision. This model is simple and easy to use. It has plenty of features that I haven’t even tried yet but know I will in the near future. I highly recommend this product and model.
