Less features than expected for the cost

We failed to read the specification. We learned there was no convection oven when we wanted to use it.

Microwave works well. Would be nice if buttons were lit up so we could see them when its dark in kitchen. Vent does not work well at all.

We bought this about 2 months ago, and I don't love it. It is small, and the plate inside is quite small and the fact that it is sunken makes it hard to use it for some larger items that go past the edges of the plate. There's also something un-intuitive about the button placement...I can't put my finger on what it is but I always have to search around for the "cook time" and "start" buttons. I thought it was just that it was different from our old one, and maybe that's it, but I've given it two months so I thought I would have gotten used to it by now. Finally, the turning mechanism has already started making a grinding noise, so I am going to contact the store where we bought it and hopefully they can fix or replace it.
It does do a fine job microwaving though. We don't do much beyond defrosting, reheating, and steaming vegetables, so I don't think we tax a microwave's capabilities too much.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Good for the money

Technically works great. I have noticed a few things bothering me: LED indicator is super bright, it may make sense to adjust the brightness. The font on the front panel is small and 'blind'. It is not easy to find the button you need, even for major functions like start and stop. Very big dark insignia right in the middle of the panel which contradicts with white color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simplicity Personified

My GE microwave is a vast improvement over my previous microwave. It is extremely easy to use and it heats up food much more rapidly and uniformly than my earlier microwave. The keypad is simplicity itself, well thought out and easy to understand.

This product is great for the value. Dependability is a key because we use this every single day. The silent feature really helps out our house with our different schedules. I love the light and color scheme.
