Electrical issue 2 years on the dot. Have to buy a new microwave since it’s out of warranty. Crappy quality appliance

Not What I expected

Had the microwave less than 2 months and the main control board went on it. Had a 12 year old GE microwave prior to this, and never a day's problem.

Not the Microwave I was looking for

VERY noisy. DB level 80 plus. Very easy to read control panel. Can not just input time, have to select "enter time" or it will run on the first number. Probably will try and return. Other than that----microwave operation works very well

Don’t waste your money!

I’ve purchased two of the same microwave from GE. One lasted 2.5 years. The other lasted 4 yrs. I’m on my third microwave (won’t be a GE this time) in 7 years.

I like the look but should have a grill on top. There is a big hold that allows idem to drop in the machin. Who did the QA on this?

Died after 18 months

Stopped heating after 1.5 months, so after the warranty expired. But no one expects a microwave to last only 18 months. Would prefer to repair, because removing the old one and installing a new one is difficult. Of course, we would prefer to buy a different brand this time, but that would then entail removing and replacing brackets, putting in new ones . . . just more trouble. I have my own business, and if my product breaks down after 18 months, I immediately fix it because I need to protect my reputation.
