Loud, jerky rotation and overall low quality

First thing I noticed was the loud noise in comparison to the unit which was replaced. Second issue is that the rotation of the plate even with something as light as a cup of coffee is not smooth. Just the feel of opening the door is a sign that it is low quality, too light and not a rigid smooth motion.

Thank you for taking the time to share your review. We're sorry to hear that your microwave is displaying a sensor error. We can understand how concerning that must be. The microwave has an automatic fan feature that will activate to prevent it from overheating. The Sensor error could be due to one of two things.

The door was opened before steam could be detected and steam was not detected in the maximum amount of time. Do not open the door before steam is detected time is shown or add more time to have the microwave detect steam. Fan Noise

I was pleased with the Quality of the microwave. Unfortunately, I noticed a very substantial increase in the fan noise when I replaced the older ge Microwave with this new model. My wife too was very disappointed with the substantial increase in fan noise. As a company, you need to avoid losing ground in a key area like fan noise. We are now forced to reconsider our standards when buying any more GE products.

Cool features but load

Quick cook times where 1 is 1 minute, 2 is 2 minutes, etc. Popcorn button works flawlessly. However when running, it sounds exactly like the exhaust fan is running. Super loud. In contrast, other new microwaves are completely quiet where they don’t sound like they are on… not this one.

Noisy!!

Thought this would be a great replacement for our GE microwave we had to replace(which only lasted 2 years). I was wrong!! This GE micowave is even louder than the first one and it is a step above the one we had. The fan is excessively loud when heating things in the microwave. I won't ever buy GE appliances again....

Worst microwave ever!

It died 1 week after buying it… took a month for them to fix it. Fast forward 3 months and it has died again!
