I love this Microwave!! Well placed key pad, fantastic features, Stainless is flawless, I highly recommend this appliance! Works outstanding!!! 5 Stars, hands down.

Good microwave

Installation was fairly straight forward, I would recommend watching a couple installation video's to get a visual idea of what you're doing as you follow the directions that come with the microwave. So far, the microwave is working great.

EASY TO OPERATE

Microwave is easy to use and controls operate as I want them to. Defrosting meat setting/control does not cook the hamburger. Popcorn comes out perfect and is not burnt. Set it and walk away - no more hovering over unit to be certain kernels are not burnt. . .

This microwave is fairly basic but it does what I need it do. I am very pleased with it and recommend it if you are not into millions of bells and whistles.

Nice unit/Great features

This unit was installed yesterday. This is my third GE microwave over the past 20 years. My first one had all the features this one has (humidity sensor, turn table control, etc.), When the first one stopped working and needed a new magnetron, I purchased a less expensive GE one, which only lasted three years and kept blowing the circuit breaker. So now that I got this one, I'm hoping for the best. The door is easy to close, without slamming, which is good for the electronics on the right side, and you can see through the screened mesh door, like my first unit (and unlike my second, which recently was replaced). I gave is a rating of four stars, since I only have it for 24 hours and am comparing it to my first GE microwave with all the features I just explained. There is not a lot of noise when the unit runs, so I don't understand the other reviews when people are complaining. Almost no noise. I guess everyone has there own ideas. Anyway, I hope to get at least 15 years from this one as I did the first one.

GE appliances are repairable & made in US

GE appliances are made in USA and parts/service are available! Not so with other brands.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
