Bought this microwave brand new and it already has a bad control panel.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

So our old GE was much louder than this one. This one is also slightly bigger inside which I really like for our family if 5. Its quiet enough for a microwave. The o my issue we had was installing it. We had to drill new holes in the cabinet above it because we got the bigger model. I don’t think we would’ve had that problem had we purchased the same size as our prior model.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Quiet and inexpensive

Great replacement for an aging under cabinet unit. Instalation was easy and the unit works well. Time will tell for longevity.

Replacement OTR

This was a replacement for a previous GE model from my home warranty company.
The stove top lighting is not as good I had 2 lights mid unit both sides underneath
now this updated model only has 1 rear center light...This unit is however very quiet compared to the previous model.

The last slate GE microwave we had cracked frequently and was replaced half dozen times. Time will tell.

Overall a good microwave

We've only used it a month but so far everything seems to be good. The only complaint I have is the door isn't lined up so you really have to push the door closed.
