I love having the different settings on the micro

I do wish that they had a light shining on each of the settings and numbers. It would make it much easier to read them in a low light situations

I really like being able to mute the sound.! I wish the control panel was easier to read in dim light, even better, if it were illuminated.
Installation was easy and the microwave functions work very well.

This Microwave works really well, you don't even have to put the times for a long time and it heats up the food right away, also love how its on top of our stove and it has the light and the little vent fan

Excellent Replacement for Old Microwave Oven

Needed to replace our old GE over-the-range Microwave Oven. Unfortunately, our microwave stopped working nearly 2 1/2 weeks ago. We loved it and made a point to replace it only with another GE microwave. When shopping for a new one, we noticed that no other microwave but GE had the "Express Cook" option. We especially liked that option on our old microwave. Therefore, needless to say, we are very pleased and satisfied with the new GE microwave.

had to buy top brackets to mount on wall without a cabinet. you should also a kit containing these brackets You could make the mounting optional

Hello Chief2184 - Thanks for posting your review. All GE Over-The-Range microwaves must be supported by a top cabinet and the rear wall bracket (included). We cannot recommend an installation other than the one we have tested and approved for safety and product life. Thanks for choosing GE Appliances!
