Great Microwave

I love my new GE Microwave. This is the 3rd GE under the range microwave I've had in 20 years. They seem to last about 6 years on average. This new one is even better than the first 2 I had. More features and more power.

Not much to say here, tons of options/features but have only used the melt, +30 Seconds, and the exhaust fan. Only thing we would change is to have a 3 speed fan vs the 2 speed.

Dead in under 4 years, GE appliances are garbage

I bought a full appliance set in 2015, and within 2 years the microwave door cracked, a part in the dishwasher rack broke, a refrigerator drawer cracked, and part of the stovetop melted. After 4 years this microwave completely died with a smell of burning electronics.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Does Not Work!

In less than an hour after the microwave was installed the microwave turned itself on. Really I'm not kidding. I could not turn the unit off, none of the buttons on the control panel function. The vendor says they will be here on Monday to replace the microwave. I would hope so.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Love most of it!

The microwave feature works great! I love the slate color! However the venting feature does not meet my standards. When cooking on my matching range the steam all goes right up the front of the microwave rather than up into the vent. I had a service man check it out and this is simply the way it is designed.
