A couple of features are not so good: (a) limited viewing area on the door does not work well if you are not tall (b) all over-range ovens have to vent grease vapor from the range, and this one allows a lot of grease through the filters which is blown up vertically onto cabinets and accumulates on the vent cover.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Nice size for our usage. The door handle seems like if you pull hard enough it will come off its setting. The clock light is bright but ok. timer is good and accurate. Would not have purchased a GE, if not for my spouse wanting it. Hope it lasts nine years like my previous

A few mistakes

Easy to install, but the instruction manual was somehow stuck in the top of the microwave next to the charcoal filter... It's still in there. Hopefully it doesn't cause an issue. I had to go online to get the manual. I still don't have a user manual. Will have to get that online too. Also, the turntable plate was completely missing from the box. Luckily, I was replacing another GE model and the plate matched so I reused the old one. I have yet to use it, so I'm not sure of the functionality.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Handle is broken on our 2nd month of use!

I’ve been using GE all my life, as I grew up with this brand in our house. This is the first time that I encountered this problem with GE. I hope they’ll send their tech soon to address this problem.
