I cook exclusively with Corning Ware. Sauces burn easily on my cooktop therefore I used my old GE microwave with the probe hold temp feature with great success. This microwave doesn't have that feature but I have successfully learned to adapt. I quickly bring sauce up to temp on high power then reduce the power level to 3. This maintains a 180 degree temp in three quart amount of say spaghetti sauce for the remainder of the two hours needed to simmer the sauce as read by my instant read thermometer.
I would recommend this to a friend!

The GE Micro is serving us very well. I tried to work it without reading the directions and big mistake. It does not work like our old Samsung.
