Lots of features

I like that you can turn off the sound of the beeper, cooking sensor and popcorn sensor are great. You don't have to constantly watch the item that you are cooking. This microwave is quiet and better than our previous microwaves

This microwave is by far the hardest to operate in addition to not being equipped with cooking shortcut features. My past two microwaves, which were not GEs had features which automatically cook common food items such as vegetables and rice. This only has popcorn and potato and the potatoes are never cooked correctly in the allotted time. Also, there’s no manual to instruct you on how long to cook or what setting to use for these common items. I’m very disappointed in this model.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Had a GE microwave oven for many years.

Just received it and have to learn about the new technology. So far, I'm learning something new every day about it. It is far more advanced than my old GE microwave oven.
