We were looking for a microwave with simple and easy to use features. This microwave satisfies these requirements. Also, we have a GE refrigerator and we are happy with it. My son-in-law purchased the same microwave model about 5 months ago and he has no complains.

Bought this item for my parents, when their microwave went out. They use this everyday, so it was necessary to get this quickly. It was easily installed with two people, and my parents were thrilled.

Compared to our 2007 model this unit has the following changes for us:
1.Wall mount bracket weaker material--we kept the original sturdy bracket
2. Turntable two inches (2") smaller in diameter
3. No included manual (must download/print). 2007 model had had instructions inside the cabinet for features like "reheat, etc.
4. Only one beverage setting, the earlier model gave you servings 1-3
5. The clock is a distracting bright blue-white display, not green like all our other kitchen appliances
6. On the plus side, the handle seems stronger; pull from the top.

I replaced a very old GE Microwave with this model. All is very nice with a concern of the
lack of an unlock button to open the door. You must pull hard on the door handle to open it. I am short and there fore I am not level with the handle. Example, it is pulling down as I open the door. I am told the life expectancy is only 2 to 5 years on the new one. Also the re-heat is not working as well as the old model. The new model, you have to choose a number to re-heat. There is no just seconds to re heat my muffin in the morning. The plastic door grippers look week to me, may not endue a long period of time. not having a door button release may be a problem,due to reason per first two sentence..
