Lots of room for the large dishes

Casseroles or defrosting larger pieces of meat is no problem with this GE microwave. Easy to clean inside and out.

Shoddy Handles

Handles a major component to the microwave is nothing more than tape over plastic. Handle now peeling, new handle cost prohibitive and no alternative to repair.

great until it quit heating

Shortly before the 1 year date started taking a long time to heat anything. A cup of coffee was hardly even warm after 3 minutes.

3 years old and no longer heats food

Why is it so hard to make dependable, long lasting appliances these days. Hardly over three years old, and the heating element no longer works. So terribly disappointed in this product.

Just stopped working

Loved the microwave oven for 2 weeks. But it was making noise from day one it made odd noises. Then, one day, while in use, it just started to shut down slowly.

Adequate replacement for previous Profile

Replaces my previous built in GE Profile. Needed to match size (exact) and color (black). It doesn't have a tapered door frame so it installed further into room to be able to open the door . It has no timed surface light. Otherwise fine. GE Needs to have replacements for built ins considered before they discontinue styles.
