I purchased this microwave as the original GE Adora i purchased two years ago as part of a suite of appliances died after two years! I wouldnt have purchased another GE but had to, to keep the same slate color.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice microwave

Cooks well, like the color. My previous GE microwave lasted 18 years. I hoping this one will serve me like my last. I’d have it it 5 stars but the range light is very poor. My old Microwave was much better.

I don’t find it user friendly...I like the timer feature and I can use the basic minutes, but the rest I am going to need to look at directions
