Easy upgrade

We had to replace one that was 16 years old. It was also a GE. The replacement was simple and quick. All wiring and cabling was in place and made the job fast.

Easy and Quiet

I love the "melt" buttons and the quick buttons for up to 5 mins, along with the 30 second button. I also love that it's quiet when running and doesn't BEEEEEEP when it's done! ;)

It's a solid microwave so far (only on day 1). We did have to exchange the first one because it came with a large dent in the front. Also, we were delayed in getting it up because we didn't realize we would need a (quite expensive) bump-out kit for a cabinet over 13 inches deep until we were double checking through the manual that we'd installed it correctly. But that was partially on us to have been more thorough when using the manual.

EVERYTHING IS PERFECT. EXCEPT IT HAS A BUZZING NOISE THAT STARTED 10 SECONDS INTO THE FIRST USE. CUSTOMER SERVICE SAYS IT'S NORMAL. NEVER HAD THAT NOISE BEFORE AND I'VE HAD KMANY MICROWAVES
