Great Microwave/Hood

We had this microwave in our last house. Just built a new house and upgraded the appliance package to get this microwave again. It is great. Three years in the last house, never had any issues. Hoping the same for this one.

Great Replacement for my 20 year old GE

Original GE Microwave lasted 20 years. Needed to find on that would fit the physical dimensions. Great news - GE maintained the standardized dimension from the older model.
Replaced the original mounting bracket with the new one.
15 minutes later and we are back in operation.

You can’t go wrong with a GE appliance! I have always have a GE appliances and they are durable, easy to use, and of high-quality. I wouldn’t use any other brand.

Replaced a similar series/size GE microwave in our re-model. You would think..take out the old one and put in new one...easy peasy....but had to change mounting support brackets to match new microwave. Took more time than I expected. There was a subtle difference that I could not hang the new one on the old brackets. An added feature of the unit that would be great would be a back-lit panel. (We are in the 21st century) Really tough to read, even in day light. Turntable is smaller than the same size unit we replaced??? Performance of the unit is good and very quiet and we are pleased at the appearance of the unit. Time will tell as to how long it lasts.

This microwave is beautiful, with excellent features. Installation was a breeze. The only downside is the sound when the turntable is turning. If you turn the turntable off, it's quiet.
