We love all the features as well as the sensor settings. The vent is extremely powerful and moves air quickly in our kitchen.

Ok but a couple of shortcomings

The door is a little tough to open. The touch pad could be could be more sensitive. It cooks well.

Clock LED tooo bright at night.
Backlit control panel would be nice.

WELCOME ADDITION TO THE KITCHEN!

Having this new microwave for such a short time, we have not been able to put it through its paces. So far, all that it has been asked to do, it has done flawlessly. Controls are well marked and took very little time to learn.

Good microwave, but on my 3rd one in 2.5 years

I have all GE appliances and they were all installed new in our home. The microwave looks nice and functions well… But the first one gave out after nine months and the second one gave out after 18 months. The GE customer service was really great (I was pleasantly surprised, actually), but such a waste of money, time, and resources for it to go bad like that. Our old one was still running strong after 12 years. In our next home, I will be installing a vent hood and getting a cheap microwave to put in a cabinet. Not the vent / microwave combination.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

I like how it looked. Works very well. I like the feature. I wish the selection buttons would light up when the door was open. Sometime it is hard to read in low light conditions. I would purchase the product again.

Second microwave

We had this same microwave in an older model and have been quite happy with it. We needed one for a rental unit so we bought the same, just newer.
