We bought this microwave because it reminded us of our old GE, which lasted for years. This one lasted 33 days and then went completely dead. Trying to get it replaced now.

If you haven't already done so, please reset your circuit breaker to reset the internal circuitry in your appliance. Also, test the outlet to be sure it has power to it. The outlet is located in the cabinet above where the microwave is mounted.

Cheaper to buy a new microwave then to have it fix

We purchased this exact microwave 1 year and 8 months ago and a sensor broke. It was cheaper to purchase a new microwave then to have the microwave fixed as GE Service is very expensive. Only purchased same microwave so appliances would match and easy to reinstall since the brackets were in place.

When cleaning the plastic number pad, we recommend wiping with a damp cloth, then dry with a "soft" cloth. Please don't use cleaning sprays, large amounts of soap and water, abrasives or sharp objects on the panel since those things can damage it. Some paper towels can also scratch the control panel.

Fine microwave with one defect - cockroach magnet

There are cockroaches in the time display. They get in, find a warm spot in front of the time display but under the outer film of the microwave, and cozy up there forever. Like, there are ALWAYS one or more live cockroaches sitting there. I hope they are not in any vital components causing a fire hazard with their DROPPINGS, larvae, and dead selves. I want the builder to know that they need to make sure COCKROACHES cannot get in!!
