This microwave looks really good. It is a good value and easy to use. Installation was really fast and easy. It is very light which made installation easier.

Good functional microwave

We had to replace our GE profile over the range microwave that was about 10 years old and just quit working. This was the closest it seemed to the model we had. Seems that GE has phased out the profile models. This is not as nice or streamlined as the Profile but it functions well and meets our needs.

Fits, lighting, cord, plattee

The unit fits in the space which is an important aspect. The lighting in the unit is insufficient as it does not light the sides of the range top and is centered at the back center making the backsplash on the range interfere with the light. The cord required an additional hole drilled in the upper cabinet. The platter is small but does rotate.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

roomy inside - good features

however, all the sudden we are getting a noise coming from microwave and no its not coming from the vent or a loose part. Too soon to tell if there is a problem that needs to be addressed. If light goes out might need to pull the whole unit out of wall to replace. This was a problem with our last one so we went without after a year.
