I would have given 5 stars but it is very difficult to see into oven. Light is to dim.

Turntable problem

Unit works as expected, except that turntable did not turn consistently. Requested a service call, and the tech found a loose wire to the turntable motor. Works fine now. Appearance is OK, except clear plastic surface of keypad is wrinkled, as if needing to be peeled off, but it appears to be the final finish. Not the best look from an angle.
I would recommend this to a friend!

We replaced a microwave that had rusted. This GE microwave is the perfect size, fit right in, and it has all the features we need. We use the microwave at least twice daily.

Install was easy, had a GE OTR Microwave previously and the same mounting hardware did the job. The stainless steel trim is very nice looking and all seems to be in good working order. Hopefully it lasts as long as it’s predecessor.

Bought to replace the exact model number purchased 5 yrs ago. This model seems less sturdy and did not have the adjustable racks that the older model had. But find the control panel layout is a little better thought out.
