Quite working when only 15 month's old

The microwave quite working, and it wasn't 15 months old yet. its a shame that these appliances are now considered to be disposable. VERY UNHAPPY!!!

Out of box failure

Our previous GE Microwave oven lasted many years so we decided to stick with GE. That was a mistake. I took a day off from work so it could be delivered/installed. Soon as the installer left I put a cup of tea in and hit beverage. The beeps that followed sounded different than our old unit. I looked at the display and it said sensor failure. The sensor is a feature we don't need and didn't want but with supply chain issues the available units all had it. Our original GE Spacesaver microwave didn't have this feature and worked well for beverage, popcorn, etc. I'm afraid to try to put a bag of popcorn into this unit. It's doesn't seem as well made and there is a lack of quality control at the factory.

Amazingly quiet! Cleans well, sanitizes, and has adjustable shelves and racks. It has jets that clean deep in bottles. So pleased. This dishwasher is great!

Poor Quality Control

Ordered this microwave online from a big box store. First one arrived damaged, sent it back. Second one arrived damaged, sent it back. Third one arrived with small dent in side that would be hidden by cabinets. This whole process took about two months, so at this point in time we decided to keep this unit although it was not dent free. Not sure how the damage occurred in all three appliances. Manager at store stated that they have experienced this problem numerous times with GE products. Only had the microwave in use for a few days now, so it is too early to tell how it will perform and how reliable it will be.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Wrong Clock Color

I bought the whole matching set and the clock on the stove and the microwave are not the same color! While the image of the micro online shows a white font clock the actual clock color is green. So the microwave above the stove has a green clock and the clock on the stove is green. It looks ridiculous and I can't believe this made it out of production this way. Please help GE - My beautiful set looks silly with clocks that don't match.
