New Over the Range Microwave

Purchased a new GE over the range microwave to replace an older - probably 12+ years - microwave. GE microwave is easy to use and meets all expectations. It was time to move to something more modern. Really glad we picked this microwave!

Exactly what we need

Instructions were clear and the microwave was easy to install by myself. I like the quick options: "Add 30 sec," "1 minute cook," and "defrost." It looks great, works great, I'm a happy customer.

Stainless steel microwave

Ok microwave looks great. However, really cheap door and handle. I needed a stainless steel drop in stove. Only one I found was GE. Got microwave to match. Disappointed with both. Spent way to much. I usually buy whirlpool

Popcorn anyone?

This might be the first microwave I've ever used where the 'popcorn' button actually works. I was a little amazed. It's not quite as spacious or deep as I would like - most of our large, square, dinner plates don't fit. So, you won't be microwaving an entire regular pizza in this puppy. But, I mean, microwaves are for leftovers (and popcorn) so who cares? The spinning plate moves in a slow, jerking motion that seems counter intuitive but the food cooks pretty evenly.
