Needs brighter light

Microwave works good but the light underneath is on the back side which doesn't provide very much light on the cook surface. It would help a lot if it was located on the front side.

The main reason for selecting this microwave was because it fit into the location above our range/oven without any issues and because it was available. We have owned GE microwaves in the past and found the quality to be superior to other brands.

no photos but it is a great micro for what we need as the lights are very dim even on high will see about going with a brighter bulb other than that well pleased so far

New Template=New Holes

Have been repurchasing this same model for 15+ years...wish it lasted longer or could be repaired economically. Same model so we wouldn't have to drill new holes through back splash for wall bracket and new holes in cabinet for top bolts. Well this year the design has been changed and we had to drill at total of 5 new holes in cabinet and wall, as nothing matched up at all. Just a heads up! Maybe GE should change the model number along with the design. (Oh, and due to Covid-19 we waited 3 months for the manufacture of this new model.)
