The touch pad on this model stinks. You have to actually PUSH on your choice not just touch it - and sometimes twice ... somebody really dropped the ball on this one. Also, your surface light stinks ... if you are going to make the High setting that dull, then at least add another setting so that you can see what you are doing when you are cooking. VERY VERY DISAPPOINTED. My previous microwave was an Amana that I had for 17 years ...talk about mourning a loss ..............
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Nice looking, works well

This microbe replaced a frequently used 14-year-old model. It has slightly different features, but overall size and options are the same. Works like a champ. Slight overrun on the fan on occasion, but I can’t quite diagnose the causes, yet.
I would recommend this to a friend!

Brand new unit and from day one horrible metal noisy when started and stopped. It heats and cooks fine but annoying noise should not be in a new unit. Had to have repairman in, he removed the entire unit to uncover the mechanics and low and Behold there was a formed sheetmetal plate of some sort floating around inside. This piece Does Not belong anywhere on or in this unit. The repairman never saw it before and checked everything in his parts catalogue on the computer. Undoubtedly the fabrication of these units-I am not the only one who has complained of the industrial noise- was shoddy and not tested before it left the factory! Removed said piece and now it sounds like a regular new microwave. Thank goodness for a knowledgeable repair person. Quality control needs a upgrade.

Motor went out.

2 months after we bought it the motor had to be replaced. Am looking into extended warranty now. GE repairman was great. I hope this is not a chronic issue.

Very nice and easy to use microwave. Wish it had a interior light. Installed it in about 1 hour. Easy to follow instructions. Great value.

I love our over there stove GE microwave. It’s got all the bells and whistles you’d expect and looks simple and very clean! Perfect for what we neeeded!
