I've used G.E. Appliances since I can remember (30) yrs. You can't go wrong with
their appliances. I own a refrigerator and I've had it for that length of time and it's
still running.

After only 2-3 weeks---it stopped heating . I may be wrong---but I think that is why we bought it. It looks nice hanging above the range though.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
