So far so good

The microwave operates quieter than the last GE we had. Also the door seems to be easier to open than the last one, which is good. I do have a couple issues and the reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The floor model we looked at had a recessed turntable, a feature that we really liked. However when we got ours home and installed, we noticed that the turntable is no longer recessed as advertised. That something we didn’t notice until after the installation since we kept the doors taped shut until it was mounted in place. The only explanation the store had was that GE had changed the features from the floor model which was made in May 2019 in Malaysia and ours was made in May 2020 in China. One other complaint I have is that GE switches the position of the mounting bolts from model to model. This is our 3rd GE microwave and we’ve had to drill new holes for each one, making our wall and our upper cabinet to look like Swiss Cheese.

Handle just snapped off after only a year.

Just opened the microwave door now normally and the handle snapped off. Only had it for about a year.
