Ugly, overpriced mounting kit

Boy this is one ugly appliance. The previous model fit flush with the cabinets. This one sticks out 2". Also, the conversion kit to add side walls to have the microwave fit in a 36" costs more than the entire microwave itself! All it is is two 3" painted pieces of aluminum! Plus it doesn't even fit perfectly so there is a gap between where the mounting kit ends and the cabinet begins.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Less noise than our previous GE microwave

I do like the microwave but had to purchase a filler kit because there is a 36 inch area for the microwave above our 36 inch cooktop. The filler kit cost more than the microwave and does not allow the door to open all the way.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

It does everything you would expect and is easy to operate. My only small complaint is that the light is very dim.
