It's a great appliance so far. I like how the turntable is set down in its own space. It heats very quickly and evenly. GE was recommended to me by a Samsung repairman.

initial reaction - seemed so much larger than expected - maybe previous model had chrome border - so didn't seem so large!

I like the surface light and the express cook times. Fan is a little loud. Did not come with an instruction booklet so had to go on line to print information “how to..”. Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase.

It works and is pretty

It's a microwave, it does what it's supposed to do.
My old one (all black) was on it's last legs after 14 years of frequent / daily use so I opted to upgrade to a stainless steel model. They say its supposed to be fingerprint-less but the handle is not which doesn't make sense because that's the main area used besides buttons; for this I give it only 4 stars because I could have saved by getting exact same one that wasn't labelled fingerprint-less. It doesn't have a button to enter your own cook time which I really miss. The reheat button doesn't allow you to change temperature level and it only has 4 options for plate, soup, veggies or pasta; no option for meat so you'll have to watch carefully if you use the reheat button. Here's what I do like: while the rotating glass plate is smaller than older unit, surprisingly my square dinner plates actually rotate in this unit! Also, I can mute all sounds, turn off display (don't need to see time when I have it on oven and other places) and the 2 surface light levels!

Great capacity

I bought this as a package with a range and refrigerator. It was not easy to install, but I think that had more to do with the fact that we installed it in an older home we remodeled, underneath old cabinets that we refaced. Overall, I'm very happy with it; it looks great and the capacity is amazing. Great product!
