Great microwave oven

We use our microwave mostly for warming leftovers, popcorn, frozen and fresh veggies and frozen foods. This replaces an older GE microwave and it is just what we wanted. Great features at a good price. It's a step up from our old one with the sensor and we just love it.

Not as good as previous Profile microwave

The table "sits higher" inside the box than the previous models, makes it more inconvenient to get plates up onto the turntable. The controls are more complex than previous model and in doing so they have taken away the ones most used - the auto settings for things like fresh vegetables. Finally, it is not as solidly made as the previous model, and evidently not as well insulated because it is much noisier than the previous model we had from 10 years ago. All in all, product quality, convenience and usefulness is headed in the wrong direction.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
