Cheap plastic handle that broke in less than two years. Of course it broke after the 1 year mark thus no more warranty.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Powerful Cooking

This microwave is of great build quality but poor design. The exhaust fan has two settings; high and low. Neither of the settings are powerful enough to suck the steam from a pot of boiling water. The combination of weak fan and the offset angle of the range heating pads causes condensation to accumulate underneath the microwave and on the control panel. Over time, this will cause water intrusion problems.
I had a warranty service repairman had verified that the installation was performed correctly, so there is no other conclusion. If there were a more powerful fan, it might be too loud as the current fan is about as loud as I think practical.
Reconsider installation of an overhead mounted microwave unit and balance that with sacrificing countertop space.
The bottom line is that this is a quality built microwave, and the warranty service response was outstanding. Appointments can be made online after the product is registered. Overall, we are satisfied with this product after six-weeks of usage.

Great microwave with all standard features

GE microwave has all the standard features. We bought the same model as our last one. It's used 5-6 times minimum per day everyday and is an awesome appliance.
