Biggest mistake we made for our kitchen

There was nothing wrong with our previous black GE microwave (17 yrs old) but we remodeled and the wife wanted stainless. Worked for 3 weeks and won’t heat now. Had 3 appts canceled by GE service. Finally had GE show up, was here 5 minutes, said a board was blown and he would order the parts. That was 2.5 weeks ago! I spoke with GE on the phone and was told parts are ordered and would arrive in 3-5 business days. Still nothing. I wish we wouldn’t have bothered.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

Simple no frills appliance

This was a direct replacement for me other GE oven that was used for 16 years. Didn't have to do anything but remove the old one and didn't have to change the mounting brackets either. Price is great. It is a bit noisy if I have to say anything negative.
I would recommend this to a friend!

My microwave was installed using the rear exhaust installation method. There is an opening at top of microwave that concerns me, because the opening is large enough for a small object to fall inside. I was told the microwave was properly installed and there is no reason to be concerned about the open slots at the top. I hope this is true.

Keypad is laid out the way I would have designed it. Features are intuitive. The appearance is stylish and sleek.
