Everything great except - cabinet depth - GE needs to be more clear if the cabinet depth needs an additional bracket - also - how can a additional bracket cost almost 1/2 of the price of the microwave...

Can’t see display letters/numbers

It is very hard to see the writing on control pad. Would not have purchased if I knew how hard it was to see.

The only reasons I don't give 5 stars are:
The buttons are a bit firm and require more pressure than I expected with newer technology. Also, the light underneath gets quite warm. I'm surprised it's not an LED light, but I wasn't focused on that detail when reading about the specs.

Hope this lasts longer than previous model

Replaced an exact earlier model of this microwave that lasted only 5 yrs. Of course it was past warranty and repairman determined that repair and part would cost more than replacement. Since I wanted to match my kitchen suite of appliances, all GE in bronze tone, I picked the same size and type model. Previous microwave ran but stopped heating so some sort of heating element went bad. This microwave has an intermittent loud vibrating sound which I didn't notice with the last one. It works, so keeping my fingers crossed it lasts longer than its predecessor .
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
