Works well, but touch pad is very hard to see in dim light. Needs to be back lit. Only with the black color model.

1.7 cu ft is plenty large for family meals. It has multiple features for varied cooking functions.

I don't use the microwave very often and this one gets the job done. Love the slate finish but the microwave itself is nothing special. The buttons are a little hard to push and it's much louder than my last microwave. Would probably spring for the upgraded model if I had to do it over again.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.
