Over the Range Microwave

I have several microwaves imy lifetime. This is the worse one I have ever had. It is made very cheaply. When opening and closing the door it sounds tinny and hollow. I have GEProfile employees which I have had over 20 years and love them. I have had Whirlpool, LG previously. This is the worse.

Very very loud fan

The is the loudest fan I have ever heard. You can not hear a person with out shouting. The microwave works, but I hate to turn it on

We apologize for this inconvenience and completely understand that this situation can be very frustrating.
The vent fan for this unit can be adjusted, and potentially reduce the sound levels coming from it. You can press the "Vent Fan" three times for a medium fan speed, and a fourth time for the low fan speed. Loud Fan

I bought this due to my size requirements. The fan is LOUD and will always go on no matter what even for 10 sec use. I was told that this is normal. If so why is there the option of high, low and off?
It is vented outside and I am not using the stove. I did not have this issue with my previous microwave.

Great Microwave

This purchase was a replacement for a 13 year old GE microwave. The installation instructions and templates were great. The model is very modern looking and the user interface is intuitive. Looking forward to many years of use.
