LOUD fan!

We've had good look with GE appliances in the past. We were replacing our old GE Advantium and had space limitations. Basic function of this microwave is fine but the fan is obnoxiously loud.
No, I would not recommend this to a friend.

This was a seamless replacement for a 2-year old GE model that died suddenly. That one was largely plug and play for the GE model it replaced that had lasted 10 years. Hopefully this one will last.
They moved the mounting holes on this one compared to the early models. They were a 15 minute replacement project but this one, despite similar model number and lineage, took about 90 minutes and some hole drilling to mount it using a different template.
It works great though the fan is louder than earlier models. Hoping this one will last l!
